What We Offer
PRE-LISTING INSPECTIONS
If you try to sell a home without an up-to-date understanding of the property’s existing condition, you may be in for a more stressful time than you anticipated. This inspection service is designed to provide you with a comprehensive report about the property’s deficiencies so that you’re able to keep prospective buyers informed and negotiations moving forward.
THERMAL IMAGING
A free thermal imaging scan of the home’s walls, ceilings, and suspected areas of moisture intrusion is included with the inspection. We also utilize thermal imaging to give our clients an explanation of how well the home is insulated, otherwise known as the R/value of the home.
RE-INSPECTIONS
In your original inspection report, there will more than likely be one or more areas of concern in a home’s construction that we have identified. In the event that the seller agrees to have certain issues corrected, we are able to return to the property at a later date to perform a Re-Inspection—checking whether repairs have been performed satisfactorily so that you can have confidence in the state of the home before you agree to a final purchase.
COMMERCIAL PROPERTY INSPECTIONS
We offer a thorough inspection of commercial properties such as strip malls, multi-level apartment complexes, and storage buildings. The inspection will reveal potentially defective areas so that you have a firm grasp of the property’s existing condition before you decide whether or not to close on a commercial investment.
Other Services
Mold Air Quality Inspection
This inspection service will test for evidence of airborne mold particles in a home that could negatively affect the health of occupants. If mold is present, we’ll aim to identify the type of mold and the source of the issue so that the necessary steps for removal can be taken.
Radon Testing
Radon is an odorless and invisible gas that has been strongly linked to an increased risk of lung cancer, and it’s a gas that originates naturally underground—so you can’t know for sure whether or not your prospective home is affected unless you schedule a Radon Test.
Water Inspection
For this inspection service, we will collect water samples from the home’s tap and the well supplying water to the property. These samples will be sent to a local laboratory to be tested for several potential contaminants that you’ll want to be aware of before committing to a final home purchase.
Asbestos Testing
Buying a home comes with many uncertainties. Asbestos contamination should not be one of them. Yet, because the mineral was popular in the mid 1900's, Asbestos is still common in some households today.
